The MCEDC is proud to have loaned low interest dollars to many Montmorency County companies. These are local businesses that could not qualify for traditional financing.

 

What does that mean for our local economy? It means local entrepreneurs are able to realize their dream of starting a small business right here in Montmorency County. It means more new businesses that have the potential to hire employees and reduce our high

unemployment numbers. It means an improved quality of life in our community due to increased local choices. In these difficult economic times every new or growing business is critical to our future.

 

We are working hard to improve the economic vitality of our County but we need your help.  In order to continue our work we need to raise additional funds that can be used for future investments into education and administration of for our businesses receiving loans and those business in search educational and marketing  assistance.

 

We are asking local businesses, organizations and area leaders to make a tax deductible contribution to the Montmorency County Economic Development Corporation today so we can continue our work.  To jump start our efforts we are looking for a few generous leadership gifts of $1,000 or more. But we also know, in this economy, we need to rely on smaller contributions of $500, $250 or even $100 to reach our goal.
